Mr. Google Alerts suggests that we track key names and important information that are a part of our children’s identity. You should consider monitoring anyone that your child comes in contact with regulary (names). Start with their:
- social security number
- babysitter(s) names
- cell phone number
- Doctors (Dentists)
- medications and the word recall
- school
- teachers
- summer camp, and the names of the camp director and their counselors
- your family’s religious leader and Sunday school teachers
- their friends’ parents
For older children try tracking their:
- cell phone number
- sports team(s )
- coaches
- make and model of their car, and the word recall

- college roomate name
- ***If they plan to traveling abroad, you can set up an alert for US State Department advisories for the city/country they will be visiting: barcelona site:travel.state.gov.
This list is just a starting point– you can track any name or activity you like.ToddlerScholar thinks this is a helpful way to keep an eye on anything that impacts your childs well being. However, we must caution parents not to go overboard!!
