This blog was created for my son, Sovereign.

I noticed he was interested in words or beginning to read when he was about 6 months old. Words on paper, words on products-words-wherever they were -on the back of a dvd cover….simply mesmerized him. If only I could peek inside his mind to see what was happening!

Today, Sovereign is almost four and his curiosity can barely keep up with him. His”Toddler Days” made it clear to me that I needed to find out more about getting this “Gifted” Pre-Schooler ready for the classroom. So from now on, whenever I come across relevant information, you can bet I will post it on toddlerscholar.com.

Here is a quick story that will give you an idea of how Toddler Scholar.com was born:

One day (he was about two) while leaving the house, we passed several vehicles. Sovereign just stopped walking-pausing to read the car logo. He blurted out “Ford”!, and I stood there amazed, stunned by what what I heard. Then I looked down at him (smiling from ear to ear) saying “What did you say?! You are a wee scholar…a toddler scholar”. I liked the sound of it…Toddler Scholar …so much so that I registered the domain name immediately! And here we are….working to build a secure platform for others who enjoy learning!

So there you have it…Toddler Scholar was created for little minds that yearn to be mega wise… we hope you enjoy!

Remember… Inside the mind of every Scholar, is a very busy Toddler.
